Introduction

Tranquil is workflow automation for teams that have outgrown copy-paste, scattered spreadsheets, and brittle scripts — and want an alternative to building their operations stack from scratch or getting locked into proprietary solutions.

It is incrementally adoptable — get started right away with simple automation scripts connecting the web apps you use every day. Expand without incurring the complexity explosion that comes with doing things piece-meal.

In the Box

Tranquil Studio is the most visible component of the Tranquil toolset. It is an Electron-based desktop organizer, task runner, and IDE (integrated development environment) for business automation tasks. Usable by end users and developers alike to create and run business tasks and workflows.

Additionally, there are tools for running workflows durably at the infrastructure level that engineering teams can leverage within their context.

Who it’s for

For end users to organize projects, trigger automations, and go about their daily business tasks.

For developers to create and test automation scripts spanning diverse web applications that integrate into their engineering ecosystem.

For businesses who want to have a beaten path to untangle their pain points and be more efficient.

Value Proposition

Versus no-code tools, Tranquil workflows are code-first: version-controlled, testable, and reviewable.

Versus heavyweight iPaaS platforms (ie, Zapier, Workato, MuleSoft, etc), it stays out of your way for simple use cases while scaling to complex ones.

Versus vendor specific applications (ie, Salesforce, Hubspot, Asana, etc), Tranquil avoids vendor lock-in that comes from relying on their automation capabilities.

Versus custom built browser extensions you get a full IDE experience with code organized outside of the browser context.
